This individual will provide subject matter expertise for technical guidance, training and direction with a team of development professionals. *Skills and Experience Required: * Support increased system engineering requirements due to increased batch processing, increased data protection activities, implementing DevOps for SE processes, and supporting the implementation of DevOps across IT. 1. IT Installation and support of enterprise applications on *Windows (Primary) and Linux (secondary).* 2. Understanding of *SQL Server* performance and *T-SQL.* 3. System and process monitoring using performance tools*, SCO, and Splunk.* *Job Responsibilities:* 1. Develop new programs, systems and/or computing infrastructure 2. Identify and document business requirements for new development projects and prepare detailed technical specifications to build applications or infrastructure 3. Provide day-to-day support and monitoring of the computing systems environment 4. Perform hardware/software changes to computing systems environment 5. Program existing and new systems and/or configure existing or new computing infrastructure as project/responsibilities require 6. Demonstrate logical, systematic approaches and methods in development 7. Produce high-quality, functional systems and/or computing infrastructure 8. Modify programs as necessary to implement enhancements, resolve production problems or improve operating efficiency 9. Identify and recommend designs that maximize workflow 10. Initiate support activities that include problem analysis, technical evaluation, work estimates and implementation services 11. Coordinate, as assigned, support or project activities with all applicable constituents including customers using the systems, IT staff supporting the systems, vendors/third parties and/or business managers 12. Identify resources and communications to facilitate work completion 13. Assist with forecasting software to determine system requirements according to company growth 14. Serve as an escalation point for first line engineers to escalate problems and inquiries that require further evaluation beyond their skill level 15.
