Role: Business Analyst

*Contractor will assist DEO with the following high-level tasks:*

1) Assess the present state of our Business Analyst methodology, its
effectiveness and thoroughness.
2) Assess the present state of our Testing methodology, its
effectiveness and thoroughness.
3) If necessary, based on the assessments and an understanding of
government restraints, conceive a more agile and efficient practice for
either or both the Testers or Business Analysts utilizing the tools at
our disposal and the resources available.
4) Develop assessment reports for each of the tasks.
5) Review assessment reports and proposals with Connect DEO staff.
*Contractor will assist DEO with the following low and mid-level tasks:*

1) Have the skills and experience to plan, develop, deploy and monitor
any approved enhancements to either of the BA and/or Testing practices.
2) Create a blueprint for planning, design and implementation for any
approved enhancements. Review these with Connect DEO Staff for approval
3) Create work/desk instructions (a.k.a. as procedures) for the BA’s
and/or Testers for their roles and responsibilities in planning,
development, deployment and monitoring activities.
4) Create training artifacts for the instructions and tools used in
bullet 2.
5) Create an RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix) and give emphasis in
the bullet 2 instructions the areas which are the foundation of this matrix.
6) Provide regularly scheduled progress reports to Connect DEO staff.
