· Design and develop JSON-based RESTful web services and enhance
existing web services with web APIs (REST, RPC).
· Good knowledge of software design principles – OOD, OOP, TDD,
SOLID, and GoF Patterns – including experience with software development
methodologies.
· Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software
systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for
implementation decisions.
· 5+ years .NET Framework 4.X, Knowledge of ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC
web development, C#, VB.NET,WCF web services, Web API REST
services,ADO.NET, Entity Framework,
· Strong data modeling and SQL Server experience, Oracle/SQL Server
database PL/SQL, Stored procedures, Views, Functions, and performance
· Data-driven applications utilizing significant relational
database engines as part of the overall application architecture.
· Knowledge of TFS version control, automatic deployments
· Knowledge of Telerik Kendo UI is added advantage
- Knowledge of Workflow Foundation is added advantage
- Knowledge of client side programming including HTML, JavaScript,
Angular JS and JSON.
- Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 development – Control Templates, User
Controls, and ASP pages.
- Knowledge of obtaining data from both SQL Server DB as well as Oracle
DB.
- Highly experience with RDBMS with strong DB knowledge on Stored
Procedures, Indexes, SQL Profiling, and ADO.NET
- Design Patterns and Loosely coupled programming technique is added
advantage.
· Experience writing automated unit test and integration tests
- Understanding of web hosting and basic server administration
- Understanding of Agile software development principles along with
experience participating in a scrum-based delivery team
- Knowledge of Telerik Kendo UI is added advantage
- 3 years of experience with TFS version control, automatic deployments
- ability to facilitate change management with teams
- Ability to work within diverse, global, virtual teams
*Functional :*
Exposure to either of Insurance, Surety, Financial Services domains,
Requirement gathering, Agile Scrum project experience

· Understand the business requirements from customer
· Analyze and design the solution for the requirements
· Develop .Net code and bring up the web application
· Unit test and Integration test the application
· Write automated unit testing
· Fix defects raised during QA and User Acceptance Testing
- Coordinate with offshore resources
- Coordinate with external teams to integrate the application
- Participate in the Agile ceremonies
