*Title: ServiceNow Architect Location: Chicago, IL*

*Duration: Long Term Contract*

*Must have skills**

1.            At least 3 years of experience working as Service Now 
architect2

2.            Should have working knowledge in Service Now in Development 
for at least 5-6 years 

3.            Experience in Catalog development in Service Portal

4.            Hands on experience in designing and developing various 
integrations with Service Now

5.            Knowledge of REST API and SOAP API

6.            More than 4 years of experience in Java scripting. Should 
have been involved in at least one project/application rollout and 
transition/support and platform upgrade

7.            Experience working in Service Now Eureka, Geneva, Istanbul 
and Kingston versions

8.            ITIL V2/V3 Certification 

9.            Experience in Service-Now as a System Administrator or 
Architect or Programmer/Analyst. 

10.          Experience with Web Technologies (JAVA Script, XML, HTML, 
AJAX, CSS, HTTP) 

11.          Certifications: ITIL Foundation Certified ServiceNow System 
Administrator Certified ServiceNow Application Developer

12.          Experience with IT Service Management Process and Tool 
Configuration and Administration 

13.          Ability to perform configurations and customizations of 
Service-Now applications, e,g. Service Catalog, Incident, Facilities, 
Security, CMDB and Change 

14.          Development and working experience on Service now plugins and 
Customizations.

ITIL Process Experience: 

•             Performed impact analysis, solution and build various 
JavaScript components for the work units related to ITIL processes 
(Release, Incident, Change, Problem, Core Platform, Service Catalog and 
Configuration Management)

•             Developed Re-engineered existing ITIL processes

•             Involved in providing solutions and develop various reports 
for change GPO’s to setup and effectively run CAB meeting

•             Participated in weekly status call with Project team and 
provide solution for the questions and provide code fix for the bugs 
reported Configuration / CMDB Experience:

•             Understanding of relationships and in depth knowledge of 
Service now discovery, Probes and sensors Configuring and setting up MID 
Servers for discovery Planning rollout of Discovery across enterprise 

•             Develop the components based on the requirement analysis and 
provide demo to client for crucial and complex configuration items.

•             Modify CMDB transform maps to include new fields based on the 
life cycle of the configuration items.

•             Maintain suggested relationship table in order to 
enable/enforce Upstream/downstream relationship for Application/App 
server/DB instances.

•             Develop and provide fixes on configuration related items 
reported during weekly calls with the GPO’s. Develop admin related item for 
implementation twice a day weekly.

•             Modify transform maps to load and update CMDB CI records. 
Service Catalog:

•             •             Created REST interface in order to receive 
input data from Service Catalog and post it to 3rd party 
integrations/applications

•             Involved in requirement gathering, build activities for 
integration of service catalog item 

•             Developing solution for inbound JavaScript interface to 
receive “Return IT Equipment” catalog item request/task in IRIS and send 
the updates back to originating system

•             Created / Modified workflow as per the requirement analysis 
and implement the same Core Platform:

•             Performed impact analysis and enabled Performance analytic 
OOB plugin. Developed manual indicators, break downs, Indicator source, 
breakdown sources and Job in order to populate Dashboard and scorecard 
information’s. Experience in architecting and developing Service mapping, 
ITOM, Cloud watch

•             Provide technical support to offshore team, track build 
status for committed Work units and deliver them on time.

•             Proactively report/update client about the risk and show 
stoppers for the deliverable being impacted.

•             Have developed and tested various components includes 
Business rule, Script include, Client script, UI policies, Data policies, 
UI action and database view for reporting purpose.

•             Provide technical and functionality support to client 
Architect. Walk through the solution in weekly governance call and move to 
it build state for monthly releases.

•             Provide functionality clarifications and coordinate with 
TESTING and Q&C team. 

•             Modify the forms and list views to populate the new fields 
appear on appropriate section.

•             Modify list views and create table and field level ACL’s as 
per the requirement.
