The ideal candidate has an eye for building and optimizing data systems and will work closely with our systems architects, data analysts and risk analysts to help direct the flow of data within the pipeline and ensure consistency of data delivery and utilization across multiple projects *Required Skills:* · 6-8 years of development experience with a focus on Java Application Development. · Proficiency with Hadoop based technologies such as MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Flume. · Expert knowledge of SQL and NoSQL tools. · Experience with at least one RDMS and SQL: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, DB2. · Knowledge of how to assess the performance of data solutions, how to diagnose performance problems, and tools used to monitor and tune performance. · Proficiency with JAVA application development. · Experience with Spring (ORM, MVC, Integration, Batch, Services, among others).
