Please send your resume along with rate expectation to [email protected] <[email protected]> or call me at 443-451-5551.* *Job details mentioned below:* *Position: Senior Applications Architect* *Location: Boston, Massachusetts 02108* *Duration: 3+ months (with possible extension)* *Client: State of MA Executive Office of Technology Services and Security* *Interview: In-person* *Job Description: * The Digital Services Technical Architect is responsible for Drupal development and architecture on the Commonwealth’s primary constituent website, Mass.gov, and its open-source fork, OpenMass, as well as collaborating with front-end engineers and designers on our PatternLab-based front-end component library, Mayflower. They will lead collaboration with internal and external hosting and support teams, as well as coaching and mentoring our internal team of engineers. *Responsibilities Include:* · Extensive experience with computer-based design of complex regulatory forms · Demonstrated success with creating OCR readable forms including barcodes and document alignment marks · Ensure forms are ADA compliant · Ability to apply strategic branding requirements and translate into easy to understand forms from concept to completion · Able to understand the required flow of information by reviewing website online application process and mimicking flow on a physical application form · Skilled at illustrating concepts by quickly designing rough layouts of logo, barcode and copy arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts · Ability to incorporate feedback to quickly turn around document redesigns · Design and create business forms, mail inserts, letters, and brochures to explain RMV policies or procedures to RMV employees, customers, law enforcement and business partners · Coordinate creation and production of outsourced projects with existing vendors such as printers, and other agencies *Required Skills and Experience: * · Experience developing websites in Drupal · Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer · Experience using Git version control · Experience working in an Agile development environment · Effective communicator and presenter *Preferred Skills and Experience:* · A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, web development, or a related field strongly preferred · At least 5+ years of experience in Drupal website development including multiple projects · Experience designing and building enterprise-scale Drupal sites in a collaborative, team environment · Knowledge site-building experience including deep familiarity with common Drupal modules in D7 and D8 · Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery · Knowledge of hosting Drupal sites with Acquia’s hosting environment desirable · An understanding of accessible design principles and Section 508 compliance *Thanks & Regards,* *Sibin John* IT Recruiter Infojini, Inc.
