*Job Description:*
The candidate shall develop a Business Impact Analysis to serve as the
foundation for MDTA's disaster recovery and business continuity programs.
*The Business Impact Analyst responsibilities are:*
· Meet with each business unit to identify & prioritize business
processes and define critical processes
· Identify the systems required to support critical processes
· Identify the consequences resulting from a disruption of critical
processes because of a disaster
· Define recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives for
systems and processes
· Identify the resources required for a recovery
·
· Complete a Draft Business Impact Analysis report
·
· Facilitate the review of the draft Business Impact Analysis
report and incorporate feedback
·
· Complete a Draft Business Impact Analysis report
*Preferred Experiences:*
· Develop a Business Impact Analysis for a Disaster Recovery and
Business Continuity Plan
·
· Analyze processes to determine where information technology
solutions may have been implemented
·
· Analyze systems to determine impact of a disruption to a business
unit
·
· Understand the relationship between the Business Impact Analysis,
Business Continuity Plans and IT Disaster Recovery Plan
·
· Facilitate meetings with managers
·
· Document business processes
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and establish and
maintain effective working relationships with business unit managers,
information technology managers, and technical support specialists
