This individual will be responsible for understanding the systems, data, and applications to help support the technical requirements for these solutions. The role will identify technical requirements as they relate to systems, architecture, data and business logic. The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for having a deep level of understanding of the data and business processes within the organization, and the methods in which this data communicates across the organization. *Essential Functions* - Communicates and understands both business and technical requirements and needs with the respective teams. Ability to communicate to both business users (internal customers) and technical resources, such as developers, architects and analysts. - Creates and maintains positive relationships with customers in both business and technical groups - Create and maintain documentation for technical requirements, including data interface mappings, architecture diagrams, and system & data requirements. - Read through application web service APIs and document requirements related to any new or enhanced development required. Understand testing processes for shoreside and shipboard applications. Create and document technical test cases to help support the development teams when needed. - Provide technical (QA) and user acceptance (UAT) testing support and expertise related to data migration, data integration, and reporting projects - Analyze business and technical requirements and identify gaps or potential enterprise issues - Create and maintain system documentation related to data integration and business intelligence, including data mappings, enterprise - Provide problem-solving support, advice and guidance to internal customers which is professional, responsive, and assume responsibility for conclusion - Complete daily, weekly and monthly processes and tasks to the required standard - Attend and engages in daily standup meetings along with other agile team ceremonies, as required - Provide guidance and analysis on potential system impact to IT managers.
