*Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer * *Primary Skill: Senior DevOps Engineer* *Work Location & Reporting Address: Englewood Cliffs, NJ* *Contract Duration: 6+ Months* *Minimum years of experience: 10+* *Education: BS in Computer Science or Information Systems* *Certifications Needed: No - 31205* *JOB DESCRIPTION :* *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * *Hands-On Experience –* MUST have "hands on" DevOps experience building out the infrastructure for and installing the tooling for an enterprise software development lifecycle as well as writing/constructing all necessary scripts, build/deploy jobs & workflows. Experience with Urban Code Build/Deploy/Release and GitHub is a MUST. Experience with Unit Testing, Code Coverage, Static Code Analysis, and Technical Debt Management is a MUST. *Software Development –* Expert level coding and development experience in JAVA, .NET, Node.js, Python, etc. The candidate needs to use this knowledge to help define and drive application standards and best practices across our DevOps landscape. Experience with build engines such as ANT, Groovy, Gradle, Gulp, etc. *Solution Design – *For assigned projects, the candidate must work with Line of Businesses to define implementation designs including system diagrams, data models and business process diagrams as well as engage with enterprise architects for design collaboration and review for software build and deployment automation. *Solution Implementation –* Oversee the implementation of automation projects to ensure the implementation is consistent with design decisions, standards and best practices. Experience building out the DevOps Container Deployment Strategy with Docker & Kubernetes is a plus. *Agile Project Management –* Experience as a scrum master with experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) to support, guide, and train scrum teams as well as build agile practices is a plus. *Agile Development Practices –* Use of Feature Driven Development (FDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), Kaizen, and Extreme Programming (XP) along with shift-left testing is a plus. *Performance Metrics –* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to promulgate success factors for the entire software portfolio.
