The following are some of the tools/technologies the QA team will be using
going forward. While exposure to all of the tools is not necessary, the
more experience, the better:
• Jira
• Confluence
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Writing acceptance criteria in Gherkin syntax
•
UI Team:
o Automated Unit Testing: Karma/Jasmine or similar
o Automated e2e testing: Selenium/Protractor/Cucumber/Chai or
similar
• API Team:
Postman:
• MongoDB (Robo 3T)
• BrowserStack
• Selenium
The following tools will be used by the development teams and it would be
very helpful to have a working knowledge of some of the tools because the
QA team will also need to use them in some capacity:
• VS Code
• Git
• Bitbucket
• Node.js
• AWS
It would also be helpful if the candidate has previous experience with one
or more of the following:
• Worked in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Worked on a team that utilized Test Driven Development
• Worked through an Agile transformation Volume and/or
performance testing
