Upgrade of up to six (6) Oracle Databases (collectively 'OraDBs' and alone
'OraDB') from Oracle Database Version 12.1.0.2 to Oracle Database Version
12.2 on Your two (2) Oracle Exadata Database Machines X5 ('Exadata') in
Your two (2) Data Centers. The Services may include, but are not
necessarily limited to, assistance with the following tasks:
A. Analyzing and documenting the strategy for upgrading each OraDB that
includes Your use of Oracle Data Guard ('DG') or Oracle Active Data Guard
('ADG') ('Upgrade Strategy').
B. Defining a target deployment architecture for each OraDB by reviewing,
in current state, the deployment architecture.
C. Creating a unit testing strategy document to govern the upgrade testing
process.
D. Installing and configuring, in accordance to Your target deployment
architecture, Oracle Database Version 12,2 software on Your Exadata as
follows: a. Validating Your Exadata, in accordance to standard Oracle
Product Documentation. b. Installing and configuring Oracle Database
Version 12.2 software on Your Exadata. c. Installing DG or ADG Version 12.2
on Your Exadata. d. Creating one (1) Oracle Database. E. For up to three
(3) non-production OraDB: a. Performing, in accordance to Your upgrade
strategy, one (1) upgrade of OraDB. b. Performing unit testing on Your
upgraded OraDB. c. Providing up to three (3) person-days over a period of
three (3) consecutive business days to assist with Your testing.
F. For Your Production OraDB, Reporting OraDB, and Disaster Recovery OraDB:
a. Performing, in accordance to Your upgrade strategy, one (1) upgrade of
each OraDB. b. Configuring, in accordance to Your target deployment
architecture, either ADG or DG, between Your Production OraDB and Reporting
OraDB, and Your Production OraDB and Disaster Recovery OraDB,
