*UNIVERSAL *Technologies is seeking *Automation Test Developers* with experience developing, implementing and executing automated test scripts for long-term positions in Brooklyn, NY. *Client: NYC, DoITT* *Duration: 12 months plus (On-Going Project)* *Working hours: 35 hours/week* *NOTE: In person interview.* *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* - *Minimum 10+ years in developing, implementing and executing automated test scripts for business applications with browser-based UI* - Experience in *managing SDLC process and test execution with one or all of the following systems: Azure DevOps (Former TFS), ALM Quality Center* - Experience in *functional testing applications with browser-based UI* - *Understanding HTML specifics needed for test automation* - Experience in *testing webservices/APIs using SOAP and REST protocols with appropriate tools* - Experience in handling various file formats as source of test data and as means of configuration, *including but not limited to Java property files, CSV, XML, JSON, Excel* - Understanding multi-tier application architecture - Understanding the concept of relational databases, experience in using *SQL query language to build and use queries for testing and data preparation purposes * - Understanding of the purpose and scope of performance testing process and tools - Must be proficient computer user with experience using standard productivity tools including *Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio for documents development and data preparation and handling* - Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project - Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance - Strong issue resolution and investigation skills - Ability to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance. - Ability to articulate and document the steps taken to resolve an issue - Ability to take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker and show confidence in decisions made - Ability to see the big picture/system understanding with capability/potential to dive into low level details to support problem isolation. - Excellent oral and written communication/soft skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders;
