Good understanding of 2G,3G,LTE protocol specifications 2. Good understanding of Modem use case flow for Voice call, Data call, Emergency call and SMS for 2G/3G/LTE 3. Engineer from Android background should have good understanding of RIL layer and the interfacing between RIL and Modem Or Engineer from Non-Android background should have good understanding of Telephony frameworks (like Ofono, etc) and their interaction with Modem 1. Good C programming skills on Linux or Android 2. Good debug and technical analysis/reporting skills *[Desirable Skills]* 1. Understanding of 5G protocol, working experience on 5G Modems 2. Prior working experience on Qualcomm Modems (auto grade : MDM9X28,9X50 or mobile grade : Snapdragon 810,808,625, 430 etc) 3. Working experience of Qualcomm debug tools like QXDM, QPST, etc to do modem log analysis 4.
