We have an immediate requirement for *QA Automation Tester *in *Rockville, MD*, Please share the suitable profiles along with contact details *Title: QA Automation Tester* *Location:** Rockville, MD* *Duration: Long Term* *Rate: $55/hr on C2C* *Start Date: Immediate* *JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Create test cases per design/requirements document. - Perform software testing (including but not limited to: GUI, backend, interface/batch, performance testing). - Plan, write and execute test cases and performs ad-hoc testing where necessary - Follow software testing best practices per test manager/test lead direction. - Ability to adjust priorities, be flexible and adaptable. - Ability to work in more than one module (subsystem) concurrently. - Contribute to automation test creation and execution. - Partner with other teams (development, functional, etc.) as part of overall team effort. - Meet/exceed performance levels expected by test manager. - Expected to learn the domain and business to support software testing activities. *MANDATORY SKILLS:* - 8 years of Testing experience with strong background in a multi-server environment; including back-end and front-end testing activities - Expertise in backend testing – RDBMS/SQL Skills. Ability to read, write and execute SQL queries - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues and report findings - Familiarity with one or more defect tracking tools (JIRA, ClearQuest, etc.) - Testing experience in web/java environments as well as transactional (batch) testing. - Experience with Selenium Webdriver - Experience in planning, developing, executing and maintaining test automation suites using Selenium across a multi-server environment - Working experience with Java (specific to test automation development) is a PLUS. - SOAPUI is a PLUS - Proven experience with backend testing using Java, Shell scripts, Unix commands, and SQL - Experience in performance testing (developing and execution) using WebLOAD. - Experience in analyzing performance after test execution - Healthcare knowledge (ie.
