Description:



The UW System seeks an experienced individual to prepare planning
deliverables related to a future state support model for a new cloud-based
administrative system to be deployed for systemwide.

A preplanning project has been initiated by UW System Administration and
UW-Madison to prepare for a multi-year transformation of UW’s
Oracle/PeopleSoft finance and human resource operations across the UW
System. The project is anticipated to proceed in phases, with UW-Madison
and UW System Administration in Phase 1. The preplanning for the project
must establish a structure that ensures the statutory and management
requirements of a single finance and HR system are met, including
future-state support model and service delivery.



Scope of Work:


The UW System is transforming its Oracle/PeopleSoft finance and human
resources support environment, including the selection and implementation
of a new cloud-based ERP, standardization of business processes, and
integration with several ongoing UW System projects.

This role will be responsible for creating and vetting options for the
future support of the new cloud-based ERP. A recommended support model
along with costs and benefits will be included in the overall business case
for the new ERP. The project manager will be accountable to the Program
Director and Program Executive.

It is anticipated that this role will work 40 hours per week on the
project. The Project Manager may need to attend meetings at various UW
institutions.

Requirements:
* Experience with implementations of cloud-based finance, human resource
and/or student information systems in large complex organizations.
* Experience with designing and implementing support models and/or shared
services models with cloud implementations.
* Experience managing large teams composed of client and external
consulting/contractor staff.
* Experience at higher education institutions.
* A minimum of three references must be uploaded with resume. Identified
references must be able to speak to candidate's prior cloud and/or
on-premise ERP implementation or other experience that will help them
complete work described in this RFS.
