*Job Description:* *Developer, Microsoft technologies* Omnicell has a dynamic opportunity for a Microsoft stack developer who will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting applications in Microsoft stack. *Responsibilities:* · Perform full life-cycle development of Windows-based database applications against Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases · Work both independently and as part of an Agile (SCRUM) development team · Gather requirements, analyze, design and configure applications to meet the business requirements and conduct unit and integration testing. · Analyze code and functionality of existing MS applications and perform fixes, enhancements and implement new projects · Document code consistently throughout the development process · Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality · Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and management to define new (and enhance existing) features that are aligned with this organization's overall long term strategy · Provide end-user training and user support during project phases and provide effective handoff to the appropriate IT support teams. *Required Knowledge and Skills:* · Excellent knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP, JavaScript, MVC and front-end web application frameworks · Understand inner workings of the Windows OS · Familiar with application and kernel debugging using tools such as Windbg and Visual Studio · Familiar with design patterns and their applications · Experience with Javascript, VB.script and ASP.NET · Strong Database development experience · Experience with SQL Server is required, and Oracle DB is strongly preferred. · Hands on experience to Architect, design and develop key UI, Middle Tier and Data Tier/Reporting modules (Full Stack Development) utilizing .Net, C#, ASP.NET, MVC. · Proficiency with HTML/CSS, JavaScript · A solid coder and majority of the job involves programming · Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users.
