Job Title: Tableau Developer Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6+ months Job Description: • Gathering reporting requirements from Business to develop reports in BI Tool (Tableau) • Inspecting existing data sources to cater the new business requirements • Developing and designing reports based on BI Tool (Tableau) Modifying the reports based on changes reporting requirements Maintaining the reports in BI Tool (Tableau) • Experience in Requirement gathering, Gap analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, • Extensive experience in linking multiple dashboards using Content Linking in the BI Launch Pad. • Created action filters, parameters and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. Restricted data for particular users using Row level security and User filters. • Developed Tableau visualizations and dashboards using Tableau Desktop. • Developed Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending. Tested, Cleaned, and Standardized Data to meet the business standards using Execute SQL task, Conditional Split, Data Conversion, and Derived column in different environments. • Generated Tableau Dashboard with quick/context/global filters, parameters and calculated fields on Tableau reports. • Created Tableau Dashboards with interactive views, trends and drill downs along with user level security. • Created and developed Parameterized, Drill Down and AD Hoc Reports Involved in Troubleshooting, performance checks of the reports, analyzing and rectifying issues within Tableau Server and dashboards.
