Qualifications/Specifications* •Master’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science related. •6+ years experience in developing Java applications and cloud services •Demonstrable proficiency required in: Java8, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, NoSQL (DocumentDB), AMPQ messaging (RabbitMQ / EventHub), cache (Redis) and Gemfire •Knowledge of application security best practices and tools •Excellent understanding of full cloud technology stack •Extensive experience with the following: Intellij, git, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Linux •Must have 1+ years experience and successful production deployment with: DocumentDB •Must have 1+ years experience and successful production deployment with: Spring Streams •Must have 3+ years experience in creating RESTful APIs and microservice architectures •Must have 1+ years experience with Alexa skill development and cognitive services •Strong understanding of SDLC is required •Strong understanding of design patterns •Understanding of scalable service development, caching strategies, streaming data, data management and queuing •Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment •Strong communication skills both orally and written •Self starter •Team oriented *5.
