The *ETL Data Quality Developer* (*IDQ Developer*) is responsible for
designing, developing, unit testing, deploying, maintaining, and
documenting a project's data quality procedures and its outputs. The DQ
Developer must document at a functional level how the procedures work
within the data quality applications. The primary tasks associated with
this role is to profile the project source data, define or confirm the
definition of the metadata, cleanse and validate the project data, check
for duplicate or redundant records, and provide data consuming parties with
concrete proposals on how to proceed with solution development.



*Responsibilities:*

·         Profile source data and determine all source data and *metadata*
characteristics; Design and execute a *Data Quality Audit*/Assessment;
Design and execute the data quality mappings that will cleanse,
de-duplicate, and otherwise prepare the project data

·         Document all mappings and rules in detail

·         Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather
requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of
these rules if applicable, then design and develop these rules

·         As per business requirements perform thorough data profiling with
multiple usage patterns, root cause analysis and data cleansing and develop
scorecards utilizing Tableau, Excel and other data quality tools

·         Good at writing test scenarios, performing unit testing, and
verifying the end results with business requirements

·         Implement data quality processes including parsing, analysis,
standardization and enrichment at point of entry and batch modes



·         *Requirements:*

·         Proficient at writing *SQL queries* and verifying the results

·         Experience with at least one end to end *Master Data Management
implementation* is required

·         Financial background a plus

·         Good understating of data governance principals

·         Experience and understanding with unit testing, release
procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change
management procedures

·         Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and
analytical skills

·         Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of
responsibilities

·         Proficiency using versioning tools and proficiency using
debugging tools

·         High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and
present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy

·         Experience using Agile methodology
