*Direct Client: * *EDI **Functional** Lead *
*6 Month contract* *Hackensack, NJ* The EDI Lead will help support the requirements, system development, and testing of vendor interfaces for customers. - Work with the Sales Lead and deployment Lead to manage the relationship with the EDI partners for client’s Customers by setting up and leading meetings, leading requirements discussions and status meetings with all relevant parties. - Manage and drive all commercial activity and change management activity for all Customers. - Manage timelines with other client ongoing and implementation workstreams. - Manage project expectations, anticipating possible issues and communicating turnaround times with reasonable delivery dates. Drive all project partners on a daily basis and drive all status reporting. - Complete requirements discussions, perform analysis and configure system as needed and lead the team with other client resources to meet project deliverables; including, but not limited to: - Drive the partners to define required layouts/file specifications, frequency of file transmission, connectivity options/information, etc - Drive dependent activities such as master data, Configuring system as needed based on Customers plan requirements listed above to produce vendor files - Testing planning and working with a EDI Analyst for testing new and existing files to ensure accuracy of customer system configuration - Researching and resolving customer and partner inquiries regarding system and process issues - Proactively identifying and mitigating project risk’s - Proactively consult partners on best practices and necessary system and process changes to achieve project goals - Research and recommend system enhancements based upon project needs - Act as a coach and mentor for others (EDI Analyst, Ongoing Team, and Implementation Team) Background Experience: - 3-5 years of strong, tactical project management experience. - 3-5 years of data interpretation and analysis experience. - Technical depth with readiness to roll up the sleeves to get the work done - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
