So maybe adding

NOTE: SHA-256/64 is a simple truncation of SHA-256 to 64 bits defined in this 
specification.  SHA-512/256 is a modified variant of SHA-512 truncated to 256 
bits, as defined in {{SP180-4}}.

is enough.
