I think it would be good if the draft registered a code point for BLS
signatures with BLS12-381 as well (as defined in draft-irtf-cfrg-bls-signature)
I think 48 byte signatures would be a nice addition to COSE reducing signature
sizes with 16 bytes compared to ECDSA with P-256.

Cheers,
John

Subject: [COSE] Comments on draft-ietf-cose-bls-key-representations-01
Two small comments:

- "Sakai-Kasahara Key Encryption (SAKKE)
[RFC6508], and Identity-Based Authenticated Key Exchange (IBAKE)
[RFC6539]. SAKKE is applied to Multimedia Internet KEYing (MIKEY)
  [RFC6509]."

IBAKE is also applied to MIKEY in RFC 6267.

- "G1 defined as E(GF(p^2))"
  "G1 defined as E(GF(p^8))"

I think these should be G2.

Cheers,
John
