Hi,
I'm working on finalizing an integration of PQC mechanisms with C509, and
when I went back to look for "official" algorithm identifiers I noticed
that there are none, and indeed, I can't find any references to attempt to
create Signature or Key Algorithm IDs for ML-DSA or ML-KEM. The C509 IANA
Registry hasn't been created, yet, and the draft does not include values.
There are identifiers in the COSE registry for both ML-DSA and ML-KEM,
however I don't see any identifiers lined up for C509 in the latest
drafts.
Are they in another draft that I missed? Or has nobody written a draft to
assign those numbers, yet?

PS: Not to open a can of worms, because it's probably way too late to make
any changes now, but is there a reason we didn't use the existing COSE
registry for C509 Key and Sig alg identifiers?
