suggestions for further research.Peggy whose Grandfather was from

 Subject: [CoTyroneIreland] Recognising Len

I totally agree with Jim.
Without Len's contribution over the years most of us would not been able to
surmount our Brick Walls for our Tyrone ancestors.
I feel a Royal Award recognising his numerous transcriptions donated freely is
the least he deserves.
The approach would be a concerted effort of members of this list starting with
letters to the Elected Representatives for Fermanagh and South Tyrone namely Mr
Tom Elliott, of the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) and Mrs Arlene Foster of the
Democratic Unionist Party (DUP).
By Googling "Nominations For Honours" will give a link to how to go about the
nomination, which can take up to 12 months going before various Committees.
The main Royal Awards happen in January (New Year H List), and June (Queen's
Birthday H List)
There may be a Nomination Form downloadable on the Govni website.
Research to be done on that
