I am needing assistance finding the family of my ancestor, Thomas Chester Agans, born 5 October 1810. The only information I have is his name, birthdate, he was reported to have been born in County Tyrone and him immigrated to the US in 1830. What research I can find on the surname Agans is that it was probably Agan, but with no verifiable information, I'm not sure where to begin. Any help would be appreciated!
