HI Carrie Could they possibly be Menagh/Meenagh, etc? My lot were in Termonmaguirk parish which covers Carrickmore, in the 1830s-1840s. She married Charles Hagan/O'Hagan, (& variants) before 1835 and some children went to Australia ad New Zealand
Ellen Meenagh The name Meenagh is common in Termonmaguirk in the 1901 census and there is an Annie in Sultan townland. In the Griffith Valuation of Ireland the name is recorded as Minagh. Meenaghs are to be found in the parishes of Arboe, Ematris, Clonfeacle, Drumglass, Tullylish, Bovevah, Carrickfergus, Derryloran, Holywood and possibly Aghagallon (Meenaght). There are Meenans in Termonmaguirk. Linley On Mon, 11 Jun 2018 at 00:20, Carrie Mahan <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello. I have never used this site before.
