That would be an error Mary; McFarlands were prolific about Plumbridge. However, they would have emigrated via the port of Derry/ Londonderry – hence the possible confusion.

Someone has included a note on one of my ancestors (undocumented of course) that shows Andrew McFarland/MacFarlane was born in Plumbridge, Derry.
