Hello Lori, I'm Lizanne McGarvey Smith. My great grandfather John W McGarvey left County Tyrone in 1851 from port of Glasgow at age of 3yr with his mother Margaret Mary Conway McGarvey and his brother Joseph age 9 months. I have my DNA through Ancestry. My McGarveys were from Omagh. When we visited two years ago, we planned to meet two groups of McGarveys: Nuala and her sisters in Greencastle and Laurence McGarvey in Ballygawley. After speaking with them and with the Catholic church at Plumbridge, I am accepting that our McGarveys were in the Cranach / Plumbridge parish. Birth and marriage records do not exist for the years that would include our family. I want to return and walk through the valley. Good luck in your research. Lizanne Smith
