Hi Jim and Len, My ancestor belonged to the Orange Lodge in Durham, Ontario, where he died in 1860. I’m guessing he was also a member in Omagh, Tyrone before emigrating to Canada. I wrote to the Order in Ontario some years ago, asking if they had any information about him and received a very curt reply,indicating that they didn’t divulge anything about their membership. I wonder if there are any lists or other information from Omagh, pre-1840?
