Thank you, Len, for your reply. In the Griffith’s Valuation for Derryloran Parish, there are listed two Thomas Hamiltons. I am 99% sure one of these is a 4xGreat grandfather. I know, from his son’s marriage records, that this fellow was a butcher and my question is…are there any records that might confirm an occupation? In all honestly I know I am pretty lucky to be this far back in my family history but was curious as to whether I could possible find any more information. (I have checked the St.Luran Derryloran church records) I must reiterate what a great site and group this is! Thanks, Chris
