William is the author of numerous instructive publications, contributor to many journals and television documentaries and is a much sought-after and popular public speaker at genealogical and archaeological societies and gatherings. He has lectured in England, Scotland and the U.S.
He is the foremost genealogical researcher in the North of Ireland.
