The issue is NOT that you will be replying to everyone. The concern is that
people will needlessly/inadvertently and repeatedly re-send the ENTIRE digest
to everyone. I have seen this occur in other groups and it's an absolute
nightmare.

to the full distribution list. How do I make sure only the intended recipient

When you receive the Digest Version, you are receiving ALL the individual
emails for that day; therefore, it is up to you to sort out which one/s is/are
of interest to you.
When you respond to one particular email, you need to remove all the others
from your reply.
