I’m super excited to see these records as ( apart from a brief mention in 1750/1778 The Abercorn Letters) they are the earliest records I’ve seen of my McCaskie/McCaskey/McAskie/Gordon direct line ancestors! They also throw in new people, and names of neighbours who I recognise as marrying into the family. My 94year old (NZ McCaskey born) mother will be fascinated to hear the news so a huge thanks to Andrew!!
