Hi again, I messaged that lady off the list, and checked her Ancestry site, tracks back to an Andrew McFarland and a Catherine Murr(e)y, Tyrone, not a line I am familiar with, but based on the names likely not a Y-DNA related McFarland/McFarlane/McFarlin line. Humm, McKane, there were McCains I think in Maine, that got there in 1718 with James McFarland literally on the same boat, they later moved to Londonderry NH, if I recall.
