Hello All, Very little survives of the 1851 Irish Census. Surviving returns partially cover the County Antrim Parishes of: Aghagallon, Aghalee, Ballinderry, Ballymoney, Carncastle, Craigs, Dunaghy, Grange of Killyglen, Killead, Kilwaughter, Larne, Newtown Crommelin, Rasharkin and Tickmacrevan. None of these cover entire parishes, perhaps just the occasional townland, hence they are referred to as “census fragments” I understand from Jim that a number (perhaps all) of the abovenamed parishes should be uploaded to CTI in the near future Len Swindley

Thanks to Robert Williams for this -- a ton of work for sure... even though not quite near to my kin, fun to take a glance!! Just my idea?
