Are you using the official Couchbase Debian7 installer? Something like
couchbase-server-community_debian7_x86_64_3.0.0.deb
<http://latestbuilds.hq.couchbase.com/couchbase-server-community_debian7_x86_64_3.0.0-1205-rel.deb>
 or
are you using something you built from source?

AFAIK, the .deb packages supplied by Couchbase work without any dependency
issues with default libc. And also starts up properly from /etc/init.d.

Thanks,
Siri
