You would need to use N1QL itself to create the view, in order for N1QL to 
be able to work against the view.

In N1QL, you would issue:

CREATE INDEX index_name ON bucket_name(fields and expressions) USING VIEW;

You can use N1QL expressions to define the view to reflect your map logic.
