Just to clear things up, after chatting with Jan on IRC I see that I got the wrong end of the stick. The real issues here are:
* We have a really cool subproject of CouchDB * It shouldn't be part of /trunk * It bundles lots of other software, with different licences * Where should we put it, in terms of infrastructure I think that's it, anyway... please correct me. -- Noah Slater, http://people.apache.org/~nslater/
