I found out that the vertical cowl stiffeners that are chronically broken are available from Univair.
40036-R and 40036-L. they are 17.36 each. For that price it's not worth the hassle of making them. I was having problems finding the angle stock. Then when I tried making my own angle stock, I was having problems with cracking because of the small radius required. Then when I got the angle stock made I would have play shrink and stretch to get the proper curvature of the cowl.
