Hi Group, just as few questions regarding the operation of the C-90 on my M-10:
1.) What is the numbering of the cylinders, i.e. which cylinder (right front, left rear etc.) has which number. I would like to know this as my EGT gauge shows cylinders 1&2 constantly cooler than cylinders 3&4 (approx. 150F), and I would like to find out why. 2.) What is the proper color of the residue inside the exhaust stacks? Is it similar to the Lycoming 0-320 where the color should be brownish-grey as a sign for proper leaning, and if it turns out to be black it shows that you are flying with the mixture too rich? I am asking this question because I do lean the C-90 pretty agressively in flight and on the ground (but EGT and CHT well within limits), but the exhaust stacks inside will remain coalish black, not the grey-brown I am used to from Cessnas. I have to add that I am flying 100/130 Avgas, so the high lead content might have something to do with it. Thanks for any help or hints.
