Paul.....An engine fire doesn't ncessarily total your coupe....really it depends on what you have the coupe insured for....many insurance companies will total an aircraft at 75 to 80 % of the face amount on the policy...if you were underinsured the Insurance company can even make a profit because they usualy have the salvage rights on payout...Hope that you were fully insured.....Bob
