I have heard that hail dents can be popped out of cars with dry ice. What I heard was that you had to rub it vigorously on the dent. Sounds scary to me, but a hail dent removing company might know how to do it. In my local area there is at least one hail dent remover guy that apparently makes house calls in his van. Not a clue as to what he does when he finds a dent, but this service might provide useful insight.
