If you get hold of the Service bulletin list that Univair sells it has a complete list of all the various fuel system used in the Ercoupe. In it you will note that the early Ercoupe came with a site tube in the right wing root. This was replaced with a mechanical gauge in the left wing root tank. It involved the change from one type of tank to a later type. It will explain to your AI the variations.
