Look carefully at the wireing...and it must be on the Battery to Buss ,
because it did not blow a fuze.....I expect you will find a wire that is
improperly supported and vibration has worn thru the insulation, so it is
shorting to the aircraft  metal surface, angle, etc......If you have a
master
switch on the panel, start there....if the master is on the back shelf,
start
there; and trace the wireing carefully for worn insulation spots. Be best
to
disconnect the battery in the mean time....It could be that with a temp
change, the un-insulated wire will slightly change position , short out
the
Battery and burn up the airplane...
