I have just finished browsing through Ed Burkhead's excellent pre-purchase inspection list for ercoupes.
It is a very good summary and could probably form the basis for a very thorough annual inspection list. One thing I was not familiar with, though, is the requirement for a support on the muffler tail-pipe. I do not have one on my Forney F1. Can anyone help me with info on this support? Where does it run. What does it connect to. Is there a diagram? Where can I get more info about it.
