Ken, As best I can perceive, Met-Co-Aire company was located at Fullerton Municipal Airport in California. and held many STC's for the Coupes, including metal coating of the wings, fiberglass wing root fairings, fiberglass tail cones, Wheel bearing mods, fiberglass engine cowl and some fuel tank mods such as riveted fuel tanks changed to welded, and changes of mechanical fuel gages to electrical float type. I have no idea if they are still around. The words "Met-Co-Aire drawing 514-1" is cast in two lines at the forward bottom side of the quadrant directly between the cable grooves and the pivot point. You can see it with a flashlight without removing the quadrant. Lay on you back on the floor, look just forward of the cross bar at the bottom of the Quadrant. If you would like a picture of it, let me know and I'll send you one. Rich Blair N99997 4J6 St. Marys, Ga.
