Greg,    I can't tell you if they're pre drilled or not, but I'd guess
not.
I will
say this about that.  If you get the acrylic shield, you must take every
precaution
when drilling them.  Acrylic is extremely prone to stress cracking.  If
you
drill it
wrong, you can start a crack that won't end until it hits the other side
of
the
screen.  Get a drill bit that's made specifically for drilling plastic.
Also, make
certain that you drill the holes oversized for the screws.  If you have a
tight fit
on the screws, the plastic can shrink in size when it gets cold, thus
causing a
stress around the screw.  This can also cause a crack to start.  It's a
bitch, but
if you do it right it should last until the next heavy handed passenger
leans on it.
