Paul, Gopod comment on the hole covering...maybe causing a moisture problem... Mine are not covered...no corrosion, but, in fact I had planned to cover them next time...also butt rib holes... to keep out bees, mice, etc...and to cover the butt ribs tight so as to keep down drafty cold wind from flowing in iunder the seat... Now, I will reconsider on your comment...keep it open, drafty, and able to dry quickly... The Ercouipe Service manual shows the rear spar holes left open..... ERrcoupe also said to never use a CANOPY COVER..But, TO STORE THE eRCOUPE INDOORS...TO PREVENT CORROSION...???
