Hello all, I have owned my M-10 for about 2 months and just love flying it. One of the few areas I am not as enthusiastic about are the canopy latches. Usually I need both hands (or a finger or two from both) to engage the little catch, and fold over the latch lever. This is a 1970 model but I am wondering if there were better latch methods on other ercoupe models/years ?? In Univairs catalog pg. 34, they list a "canopy latch kit-Nelson type", anyone know about this ? I will probably call them, but I thought I'd check in with everyone here first. Thanks for any input!
