I got this thing in the mail today about Signature Aviation filing a petition for a rule change regarding the way that manufacturers can call engines "zero time" even though they may have all kinds of hours and prop strikes, among other things, yet regular shops don't have any ability to do so even when rebuilt to better than new standards.. Anyhow, they have a web site www.stopzerotime.com that anybody interested might want to check out. I think they do make a lot of good points.
